After finishing last year’s campaign with only a pair of wins, the Rangers improved to 1-and-1 this season after a 5-4 win in overtime against the Canadiens in St. Paul on Friday.

Vegreville’s Nathan Gottselig was the extra-time hero, completing a hat-trick with the game winning goal.

The Rangers are right back to work on Saturday when they welcome the Cold Lake Ice to the Vegreville Rec. Center Arena at 8:00 PM.
