The Jays used a complete game effort from Kyle Muzechka on the mound along with a pair of RBI singles from Clay Geibelhaus to sneak past the Tofield Braves 2-1 on Thursday night.

With the win, the Jays improve to 2-0-and-1 on the season while Tofield drops to 1-and-2.

The Jays are back to work on Tuesday when they welcome the Camrose Roadrunners.

Elsewhere in the Powerline Baseball League on Thursday, Rosalind improved to 3-0 on the season with a 10-3 win over Sherwood Park (0-2-1) while in the Clash of Camrose, the Roadrunners (1-1) got past the Axemen (0-2) 11-9.
